What we offer
Our multidisciplinary team includes general psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and neurologists. We work with adolescents and adults across anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, and more.
Medicare rebates are available for many services with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or a referral from your psychiatrist. We also work with NDIS participants.
Several of our psychologists are SIRA-approved and experienced in delivering telehealth psychology for workers’ compensation across NSW. Our psychologists are registered with AHPRA and experienced in working by telehealth.
You can read more about our psychology services and how we work with people in Dubbo and across Western NSW.
You can book a telehealth psychology appointment online whenever you’re ready, or enquire first and our team will help you find the right clinician.
Why Mind-Care for Dubbo residents?
We’re not a faceless telehealth platform. Mind-Care is a practice with a real team, a real clinic in Charlestown (Newcastle), and clinicians who care about the people they work with. Many of our clinicians also offer telehealth from locations across NSW. When you connect with us, you’re connecting with people who understand regional and rural life.
Our parent organisation, Educare, has been providing allied health services across New South Wales for over 25 years.
Working alongside your GP
We work closely with GPs and other health professionals in the Dubbo region. If you’ve been referred by your GP, we’ll liaise with them to ensure your care is coordinated and consistent.
Common questions
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist?
No. You can book privately without a referral. If you would like Medicare rebates, ask your GP for a Mental Health Care Plan first.
Can I get Medicare rebates for telehealth in Dubbo?
Yes. Telehealth psychology attracts the same Medicare rebates as in-person sessions when you have a Mental Health Care Plan.
Who do your psychologists work with?
We see adolescents and adults across a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma, PTSD, ADHD and workplace stress.
Can you help with a workers’ compensation claim?
Yes. Several of our psychologists are SIRA-approved and experienced in providing telehealth psychology for injured workers across NSW. Workers’ compensation appointments are arranged through our team, so reach out and we’ll guide you.
