Finding a psychologist in Tamworth who offers quality mental health support isn’t always straightforward. Wait times can be long, local services are limited, and the distance to major centres makes in-person appointments difficult to sustain. Mind-Care is here to change that for Tamworth residents.
Psychologist Serving Tamworth | Telehealth Mental Health Support

Accessible psychology for Tamworth
Our team of psychologists, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists offers telehealth appointments to clients in Tamworth and across the New England and North West regions. Telehealth means you get the same evidence-based care as our in-person clients. From your home, your workplace, or wherever works for you.
We work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, grief, and more. Many services are eligible for Medicare rebates with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. We also work with NDIS participants.
Several of our psychologists are SIRA-approved and experienced in delivering telehealth psychology for workers’ compensation across NSW. Our psychologists are registered with AHPRA and experienced in working by telehealth.

Real care, not just an app
Mind-Care is a practice with a real home base, our Charlestown clinic in the Greater Newcastle area, and a team of clinicians who are invested in the wellbeing of their clients. We’re not a platform that matches you to a random therapist. We take time to understand what you need and connect you with the right person.
Our sister organisation, Educare, has been providing allied health services in NSW for more than 25 years. That experience shapes how we work.
How telehealth works
Once you book, you’ll receive a link for a secure video call. There’s no software to install, no waiting rooms, and no travel. You can also opt for a standard phone call if you prefer. Your clinician will work with you to establish a regular rhythm of sessions that fits your life. If you’re not sure whether telehealth is right for you, we’re happy to answer questions before you book.
